Join Principal Financial Group as a dedicated asset marketing expert to support our swiftly growing asset management initiatives. This outstanding opportunity allows you to lead the creation of product marketing materials that boost sales engagement with prospects and clients across APAC. You will represent asset class needs and serve as the main market contact for assigned investment teams.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and Refine Marketing Content: Partner with Product Teams, Sales Teams, and Marketing counterparts to craft targeted marketing positioning, messaging, and content for institutional and wealth clients throughout APAC.
  • Global Collaboration: Partner closely with Global Asset Class Marketing to tailor and customize global content for APAC markets.
  • Fund Launch Support: Facilitate key fund launches by producing new fund launch materials.
  • Maintain Marketing Materials: Keep all product- and capability-specific marketing content current, including presentation decks, brochures, and fund profiles.
  • Compliance: Ensure all marketing content aligns with local regulatory requirements.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about marketplace dynamics and the firm’s investment priorities to generate ideas for product content.
  • Thought Leadership: Develop investment thought leadership and marketing collateral.
  • Special Projects: Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

Who You Are

  • At least 5 years in asset management marketing, with regional experience in APAC preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to build and implement product-related marketing strategies.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English. Chinese is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of financial products and the asset management industry.
  • Excellent problem solving, project management, and decision-making skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong planning and time management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and build positive relationships.
  • Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
