Join Principal Financial Group for a contractual opportunity as a Senior Accounting Officer to join our dynamic team. This 1-year contract role is perfect for someone looking to make an impact while growing their skills in a nurturing and ambitious environment. You'll have the chance to engage in various accounting procedures and financial reporting tasks. It supports the integrity and safeguarding of our company's assets and capital.

What You'll Do

• Work closely with our India Team to handle vendor payments, intercompany invoices, and staff reimbursements.
• Manage month-end tasks such as expense accruals, revenue booking, bank reconciliations, financial statement updates, and other closing entries.
• Handle fee settlements, including cheque deposits and accounting entries.
• Assist in the annual audit to ensure flawless financial records.
• Undertake other ad-hoc tasks as requested, contributing to our world-class accounting standards.

Who You Are

• A higher diploma in accounting or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of experience in financial accounting or auditing.
• Proven ability to work independently, with an outgoing and self-motivated attitude to meet tight schedules.
• Strong communication skills in both verbal and written English and Chinese.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
• Hands-on experience with accounting systems, with a preference for NetSuite.
