Join Principal Financial Group to be at the forefront of managing and nurturing client relationships, ensuring flawless service and outstanding client happiness. You'll act as the primary point of contact for our strategic DCIO and Institutional clients, ensuring their needs are understood and exceeded.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and organize outstanding client evaluations and DDQ meetings, which involve conducting meetings, grasping client objectives, preparing attendees, and addressing follow-up tasks.
  • Collaborate with the product and distribution teams to grasp client requirements and objectives while establishing clear internal client groups. Support in retaining and fostering growth in alignment with Principal's strategic growth goals.
  • Plan client events for smooth client experience, and coordinate with various teams to meet client needs promptly.
  • Understand Principal's investment strategies, client solutions, operational infrastructure, and legal aspects. Represent clients and the market within Principal, evolving business to meet client needs.
  • Manage and maintain the client relationship book of record, ensuring client information on Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems is maintained and updated, as well as our client campaigns to ensure relevant thought leadership is shared effectively.
  • Maintain client call notes, tasks, at-risk status, activities, and key relationship information on internal CRM systems.
  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required.

Requirements

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree; an advanced degree is a plus
  • CFA, CIMA, or CAIA designation preferred or relevant experience
  • At least 8 years of experience in asset management and client experience, particularly in Asia Pacific
  • Profound knowledge of the DCIO and institutional environment in Hong Kong; acquaintance with the wider Asia Pacific regions is desirable
  • Demonstrated competence and expertise in various asset classes, particularly with a focus on Equities and/or Multi-Asset. Familiarity with Asia Pacific investment markets is beneficial
  • Outstanding presentation and client-facing skills, with the ability to discover creative solutions to intricate client issues
  • Collaborative with the capacity to operate autonomously and effectively to meet timelines with minimal oversight
  • Proficiency in spoken/written Cantonese and other languages is preferred
